So I can spray from a spray gun like painting a car big wide fan or use a wand for a small spray and to get into places. I make up a short flexible hose then a wand that plugs into that. An old automotive gun and I lapped the head as it was not a pressure gun, lap it so it wont leak then I have a seperate gun that will take a male 1/4 air line end. Ive got a three gallon pressure pot 25 foot hoses. Under a car on jack stands thats not possible for me to have that cup.īest ive found is a pressure pot then guns and wands thats what any of the big set ups have and on the small scale you can buy that rig with no heat for probably around a 1,000.00. thats gettting better but you will still have a spray gun with a cup in your left hand as you are working and wands in the right and you will still stop to refil it. Then next there is an actual pressure cup spray gun some mechanics use. I also have the single pressure gun that is a level above the Shutz and its a total pain leaky clunky thing. I had a shutz gun for thick product years back. Its a no fun job which im sure you know however its the only reason my car is still on the road. Anyway flying out will get back to you, yes you will have to deal with it a certain way but thats a good thing that its so thick as well. Old cars more so some stuff made better now for the winter thing. Its sad not having a hoist the truth about cars is you have to power wash after the winter, then rust proof then end of the season before winter ad a bit more., Lying under there last year I thought when I get a really good wally its never going to see winter., winters are brutal period on cars. There are times ive done the whole car with one wand but that was slower still a peice of crimped tubing amazing what it can do. I bought a few Krown wands as well then just made my own to fit the car. I also put grease on my wheel well lips the folds they make on cars are bad news for trapping stuff in time they open a bit then it starts to go down hill from there.īrian im on the my way out I can send you my set up tonight I built a mcgiver system and it works pro. If you want to get ubber picky like my high end detailer friend you have many products to do a a car, he used six different ones and I use just the fluild film but since the car is so old there are a few places i use grease say my oil pan I change my oil I see some corrosion and i know scraping on the snow and splatter few things can hang on there wax or grease do the trick on that. that would normally be damaged during maintenance, can be salvaged by applying FLUID FILM.Yes I bought a five this year and my stir stick just stood there same with the gallon pails and the metal stir stick. Heavily corroded and/or frozen parts such as nuts, bolts, shafts, etc. These long lasting products contain no solvents, will not dry out and will penetrate to the base of all metals, providing corrosion protection from both natural and industrial atmospheres. Facilities where they are used include government, commercial fishing, gas companies, farming, salt, power, and industrial plants.įLUID FILM is formulated from specially processed wool-wax, highly refined petroleum oils and selected agents to provide corrosion control, penetration, metal wetting and water displacement. More recently they have been introduced and successfully utilized in the lawn & garden, aviation and automobile industries, as well as providing an environmentally friendlier solution for home maintenance. They are long lasting, thixotropic liquids and gels that have been used for over 55 years in the highly corrosive marine environment of ships and offshore drilling rigs. Nothing Protects The Green Industry Like Fluid Film(R)įLUID FILM products offer powerful corrosion protection for all metals and superior lubrication for all moving parts. Check with dealer/vehicle manufacturer as to compatibility. Fluid Film(R) may soften some vehicle undercoatings. Year round corrosion protectionĬare should be taken around non oil resistant rubber goods. Will not harm most paints, plastic, or oil-resistant rubbers.įluid Film(R) protects vehicle underbodies, salt spreaders, plows(including electrical connections, pivot points, nuts, bolts, chains, cables), and remains slick in sub-zero temperatures, keeping snow and ice from building up on metals and plastics, like plow blades, snow blower chutes and headlights. Provides a lanolin based lasting lubrication for moving parts. Provides a lasting, protective barrier from moisture, salts, calcium and sodium chloride. Fluid Film(R) penetrates to the base metal and remains soft and pliable, making it self-healing, non-drying, and impossible to crack.
